Len is a seasoned executive who brings more than 20 years of experience and leadership to the footwear Industry. His career began at Macy's, where he evolved from corporate buying to development. Then at Nine West Group's Enzo Angiolini division, he rose from Director of Concept to President where he led the brand's growth from a $30 million to $145 million business, and consistently maintained one of the industry's highest bottom lines. As President and COO of Donald J Pliner, he expanded brand awareness through the opening of retail stores and strategically reorganized components of wholesale, including factories, operations and reporting structures that dramatically affected both footwear and handbag profits.

Since co-founding Modern Pulse in 2009, Len has offered strategic business leadership and insight to some of the worlds biggest brands. His customer relations skills and talent for creating winning strategies that dramatically improve the bottom line is one of his most powerful weapons. 

Len is sought out as an expert for seminars, consulting and writing articles on a wide range of topics including Live internet sales, the Ins and outs of wholesale, assisting foreign companies to do business in the US, and operational topics such as warehousing, shipping issues and customer service and financial factors.

Deborah Cianciotta | Principal Partner

Deborah's career launched at Nine West Group, where she gained a solid foundation in the design, technical and business aspects of the footwear industry. As Senior VP of Product at Enzo Angiolini, she traveled the world to collaborate with footwear artisans and was the driving force for the brand's explosive growth from a $45 million company to a $200+ million industry success story. After leaving Nine West, she was hired to help Camuto Group build its exclusive private label footwear business from $20 million to $70 million, all by expanding footwear and tying in, accessories and apparel to create a brand.

Since co-founding Modern Pulse in 2009, Deborah has inspired both established brands and startups to translate their product visions into reality. She has an exceptional talent for spotting emerging trends, identifying a line's needs. Her success stems from 30 years working with creative product visionaries as Vince Camuto where she assisted creating for Tory Birch and Jessica Simpson. Deborh’s client list includes work for Nicole Richie, Leon Max, Dillards , Nordstrom and DSW private label and more.

Deborah regularly creates Social Media Assets , speaks on live sales, offers creative writing and visual design tips for websites and SM along with trend forecasting and analysis to leading trade media outlets.
